Psalms 56:11         In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

There are about or over 188 scriptures concerning the word “TRUST”.  Your day is full of tasks and the list of “Things to do” grows by the minute. Now the kids are home for the summer and there is not time for adults to take a break.  Or your mind is going 100mph but your body just can’t quite grasp second gear and you are already running low on fuel. You are finally at a point in life you are happy with but now you have competitors, copy cats and sharks are after your ideas and you are feeling overwhelmed that perhaps the market is too small for two entrepreneurs in your area. We must keep moving forward! Lately you have been having doubts about a lot of areas concerning life, work or your business.  I’d like to give you a quick pep talk to keep you moving in the right direction. I have faith God has allowed me to write about this as he sees my own struggles in this area.
I love what I am doing, I love helping people, I love being around people.  My heart loves passionately in all that I do! Everything is fine until you STOP trusting in God. When you start something new, sometimes before we even begin, we start to pray about it. This can take a while and sometimes we get an answer not to move forward with the idea.  To some we move forward comfortably and little by little things fall into place. You start meeting people who share the same dreams and ideas, you start making friends. You get so busy in the manner you started that as time goes by you forget about “praying without ceasing”.  You’re now doing your own will and building upon your own strength, it no longer bothers you that your new friends have NO Godly standards. Nobody prays with you, for you or about your life, work and your business. When one begins to build on their own strength little by little there will be signs of weakness and it all begins with lack of trust in each other.
Women or (in today’s era), men will begin to lose or let go of their jobs during summer months because parent s cannot trust their children; fear burning down the house!  Perhaps the idea of an unfaithful spouse makes it hard to concentrate at work and now your boss is constantly on your back about all your mistakes. You came up with an idea long ago and all of a sudden someone is following your footsteps and perhaps taking credit for what you have been doing all along. You have been moving forward steadily and progressed until the competitor came along and now you want to move like a freight train full speed ahead. When is a good time to STOP and pray about these issues?
Right now! We should have no fear that God cannot be our overseer in our home, we should never fear unfaithfulness in a marriage or coupling phase, and we should never doubt what God can do through us concerning our own business affairs.
The Holy Bible teaches that everything man does will eventually come to light. We have to trust God in everything. There is no wrong doing that will not resurface or in other words SIN will find you out. We must always remain Calm! There is nothing anyone can do to us to bring us down. Jesus paid for our sins at the cross. He showed us how he conquered death he endured pain for us all the way to Calvary. Sure families break up and marriages end up in divorce and most businesses close their doors after two years.
All these occur because we failed to build a foundation of trust! When we learn to trust in God first; we shall succeed! Life becomes much easier when a home is founded and rooted in God’s word. Husbands and wives become faithful, children become obedient and the home becomes whole. As we learn to pray before we head out the door into our work field the Holy Spirit will make way in the hearts of your co-workers as they begin to see Jesus in you. Eventually you become a commodity your boss does not want to lose or see let go. Your business affairs become less burdened and as you let God control the lamp of your feet he will guide you to your destiny of success. But none of this can occur without you trusting in Him and trusting in what he can do to you.
Please consider these quick guides and apply them to your lives a little at a time.

o   Learn to take time out to pray as a family. At first you might have a little shame in asking the family to gather around. Or pride might set in and you won’t want to do it at all. But rebuke those thoughts and just do it like you get up for work, take meds/vitamins or something you have to do on regular basis.

o   Before you go to your occupational place take time to pray in your vehicle.
Ask God to help you be a good steward and to keep the place from becoming a hostile environment. Learn to trust God in bridling the tongue at work, everything but good news travels fast and there will be no room for discontentment.

o   Promise God the first fruits of your labor. Everything already belongs to Him anyway.  God has given you time here on earth so give HIM 10% for that. He has given your life so meet Him at church when the doors are open. And to the root of all evil, money, give Him his percentage in that also. The more you give the more you will be blessed with. God is does not lie. How can you see Him if you won’t or refuse to trust in HIM.

Learn to trust in God for everything in life. He will see you through as promised in HIS WORD. There are so many bible promises wrapped up in scripture, all you have to do is open the bible to reveal them as promised as a gift to those who would have them.
I have fears in my own flesh! I fear to fail God, to become more of the flesh, I fear the anger of God’s wrath upon me if I should go astray. But I will continue to trust in Him in all I do and continue to become a better woman, mother, wife and friend. God will see you through all your obstacles if you learn to lean and trust Him with all your life.
